Introduction |

What began as
a small but sincere effort to appreciate flora has grown into
a versatile interest group fluent in many educational issues.
The objective of the group is to create greater awareness
of Malaysia's flora. |

| Through visits, talks
and discussions, the group is trying to reach different audiences
in as many ways as possible. Perhaps, in this way, our effort to
conserve nature will be realised more efficiently. |
The group also hopes to organise more workshops that will enable
them to share on ways to manage and conserve plants.
It has been proven that our efforts to conserve the flora of Malaysia
is well received by the authorities. The group is working closely
with local authorities and other NGOs as well as individuals in
addressing this issue. |
Besides the main objective, the group also organises other activities
like visits to organic farms, herbal gardens and educational outings
to recreational parks where flora are in abundance. These outings
enable the ordinary members to appreciate the beauty of the Malaysian
flora. |
