Cave Group
A Bit of History
The Selangor Branch Cave Group was formed by a very small group of interested members in 1984. With the dedication of about 20 active cavers, we are making headway in introducing caving to interested members of MNS and the general public.

Objectives

To promote caving To explore, survey and study caves To foster preservation/conservation of caves To co-operate with other bodies regarding the above matters.
What do we do in the dark?

Explore caves, of course.

Help out the HQ and also the Selangor Branch in various activities like the environment day, new members' day, field courses, membership drives, exhibitions etc.

Organise Branch outdoor programs to caving areas for MNS members like Kinta Valley eg. Gua Tempurung/Kandu, Gunung Senyum and Kota Gelanggi.

Conduct tours of Caves in Selangor.

Cave conservation ie. help out in the preparation of the Kinta Valley report, Perlis WWF study etc.
