Ilmu Auditorium at 8pm. Dr Ng Soon Chye will share his
video of the many species of birds he “shot” during a
birding trip to Sabah with a few MNS birders.
Endemic species such as the “White-tailed Blue Flycatcher” and
the “Blue-headed Pitta” and the Borneo race of “Garnet
Pitta” fell victims as to his quick draw. The trip covered four
birding places: Tawau Hills Park, Danum Valley, Tabing Wildlife
Reserve and Kinabalu Park/ Poring. For those wishing to make
a hitch-free trip on their own, informational pamphlets on
accommodation, transportation, and birding sites will be
distributed. To cover the cost of hall rental and material, an
entrance fee of RM2 per person will be levied.
