MNS is an organisation dedicated to the promotion of
conservation and the appreciation of Malaysia's natural
resources. It has around 5000 members, most of whom belong
to the Selangor Branch. This makes us the largest branch in
the Society. Hence we have so many activities and projects.
The members are the backbone
of the society. By just being a member, you are making a
stand showing that you care for nature and its protection,
and by coming to our talks and activities you are
participating in nature appreciation and advancing the work
of conserving the natural resources of Malaysia. You may be
a student, a housewife, a clerk or a scientist. There's a
role for each one of us in this effort to conserve our
natural heritage.
We have achieved much through
the efforts of our volunteer members:
the creation of Kuala Selangor Nature Park and the
Endau Rompin Park, the protection of the Dark Caves and the
scientific expeditions to Belum are among our major
achievements, but there is still so much more to be done.
Join us, support the Society
and have fun at the same time. |
